Garry's Mod Update Posted on 29 Jul 2008 by Matt
A new update (number 46) has arrived for Garry's Mod that makes the following changes:
Garry's Mod Update 46
# Sped up startup times (by up to 15 seconds)
# Slightly reduced 'sandbox' loadtimes
# Reverted to older version of 'FindInSphere' function
# Reverted gravgun hold to pre-orange box style
# Fixed 'PrintMessage' not working on dedicated server
# Fixed cs_fix.mdl server crashing exploit
# Fixed exploit in RunConsoleCommand allowing any console command to be run
The update post over on the Garry's Mod website comes with a note of advice that if you experience problems with the spawn menu it's probably because the server you have joined is not yet updated. There's also a link in the post to help with refreshing your installation of the mod.

Episode 3 Concept art? Posted on 29 Jul 2008 by Matt
What appears to be the first Concept Art on the much awaited Half-Life 2: Episode 3 has surfaced.
Drawn by artists Ted Backman, Jeremy Bennett, Tristan Reidford and listed for the PC, XBOX 360 and PS3. The picture shows what appears to be Freeman in the distance with a Combine Adviser in the middle of a large Citadel.
While Valve has not shown or mentioned anything of EP3 at E3 and has been mum on it ever since the release of EP2 last year one has to wonder if this is the real deal and if it is when is it coming?

A Heavy Problem Posted on 29 Jul 2008 by Matt
It is confirmed that the Heavy Class will be the next update for TF2. Read the release from the TF2 blog. "As Gabe mentioned in his lengthy response to an email recently, the next class pack will focus on the Heavy. For the Medic and Pyro packs we kept our goals for the pack pretty close to our chest, but for the Heavy we've decided to open up the process a little..." Read more here.
